Past Dachshunds Puppies

Jiggy has been nothing but a bundle of joy! He is 6 months as of the 27^th of April. He weights 7lbs 5oz as of last week. I am starting to think he isn’t going to get any bigger than this. J He loves to play allllll day but LOVES to sleep and cuddle under blankets when ever he can. Kisses all the time no matter what is going on – tons of love! But snuggling with him is so relaxing b/c he loves to do it! His favorite thing to do is to just sit in the sun whether it’s outside or through the window and absorb it like it’s the last day of sun forever. I have an 80lb mutt who the Jig myster has no fear of what so ever whether she growls or barks at him, he just goes back for more. It’s hysterical! All in all he is a wonderful puppy and we will be purchasing another one in the near future! We hope all is well and thanks for a wonderful addition to our family!

Judy, Just wanted to send you an email and let you know my daughter was totally surprised, she just loves him. Everyone thinks he is adorable. Here is a picture of her holding Snickers (Sterling), the first night he came home and laying in the bed she bought for him. He loves being held and I think he is spoiled already. We love our new addition to the family! We call him Marley. He is adjusting very well and i have to say that you must of done a wonderful job potty training because he has had no accidents! Maybe a piddle or two, but I have never been so impressed. My first was so hard to train in that area, this is a blessing! I am including some photos.

Just Giving You A Brief Update On Dougal. He Is The Most Wonderful And Loving Puppy. He's Growing Big Already. He Loves To Play With His Brothers (Buddie And Tigger) And His Sister (Mini). Dougal Is Active And Loves To Be Around People. We Had No Problems With Him, Except Spoiling Him. He Loves To Lay On His Back And Show His Belly. Our Family Really Enjoys Him. Dougal Is Getting The Hang Of Potty Training And Being Outside. Dougal Hates Wearing His Sweater But Likes To be Carried In My Purse. He Has The Greatest Personality And An Amazing Character. He Truely Is A Charmer. I Love Him Very Much.

Hi Judy!

Just wanted to finally drop you a note and send some pictures of Ryan( aka Lionel). He is doing just wonderfully here in his new "forever home" and just loves his new brother Chase! He is completely house broken, extremely intelligent and funny, weighs 9 pounds and is a joy to have around. He is still a little coy around my husband, but he most definitely has a "mischievous" personality. He loves to steal my socks and take things off my desk! He has mastered the stairs like a pro and has discovered the back of the sofa is quite comfy. He is also a "Mommy Magnet" just like his brother, so there is no room left in my lap when I sit down!! Thank you so very much for giving us such a beautiful, loving and lively addition to our family. We adore and cherish him immensely!

"Chase & Ryan"

Hi Judy,

I am just writing to tell you that Key (now named Malcolm) is doing great. He is so much fun to have around and seems to be adjusting to the new environment nicely. He went for his second vet visit on Friday and he is now 5lbs. He is growing so fast! I saw that Metro's new family is having problems with the crate and leaving him alone too! I have been taking Malcolm everywhere with me because he doesn't like to be home by himself. I teach at a preschool and he comes to work with me everyday. He has become the school mascot; the children and families absolutely love him. Thank you so much for such a perfect puppy!

Hi Judy,

I just wanted to let you know that Metro (now named Gibbs) is doing fine. He was wonderful on the trip back. Didn’t really like the crate, but slept both legs of the flight. He has settled in beautifully and I think likes it here. Our only problem is that he doesn’t like being in the crate. We settled the night issue by getting this “Snuggle Puppy” off the Internet that has a heat pack and an actual heartbeat. That has done wonders during the night. He still doesn’t like being left alone, which we’ve only done twice. Other than that, he is being spoiled rotten and loving life! He seems to be lightening up a lot in color. I think he is going to resemble his father more. I’ll send you pictures as he grows. But his disposition is great. He LOVES everyone…adults, kids, other dogs… The only thing he doesn’t like is being left along. We love him. Karen

Hi Judy and Dale. Just thought I'd send a few pics so you could see how Hanna (you knew her as Maggie) is doing. She loves to run in the yard, play with our other 2 doxies, chew her rawhide and cuddle. She is so loving. Its just hard to get close-up pics of her since she always wants to get in your lap while you're taking the picture. She is 8 months old now, and we just love her so much! The pics are from Christmas, and the other dog is Jake, he belongs to Sandy's mom. Well, that's about it. Bless you, and bye!

Hello, I just wanted to write and let you know how good Daisy is doing and how much we enjoy her!! She has sooo much energy and loves to chase her toys around the house. Her favorite thing to do is sneak into the laundry room and steal our socks. It's getting colder here in West Virginia , so you can always find her snuggled up under her favorite blanket on the couch. She is happy and healthy and hopefully will be a friend to us for a long time.

Well, as of last evening she found a new friend. The company that came to fix our driveway brought along their male dachshund to play with Ginger and she had a wonderful time.

She loves, loves empty plastic soda bottles over any other toys.

She knows when 4:30P comes around her Papa’s is coming home and will sit at the end of the yard for his truck.

She is now weighing 10 pounds and I don’t see her getting much bigger.

Before I forget she is also a Red Sox fan, she sat and watched the World Series from beginning to end.

Hello Judy! I haven't emailed you in such a long time, I just wanted to
update you on Olive.
She is the best puppy ever. We have a lot of fun playing catch with
mini tennis balls and frisbee... she loves frisbee. Olive is now almost
7 months old, I can not believe how the time just flew by. I just
wanted to email you and thank you for bringing us such a great puppy.
From day one we have had no problems and she is such a lover, always
giving kisses and she loves to put the side of her face on our face (I
think she is trying to give a hug)!
Well, I hope all is going well, I recommend you to other dachshund
lovers all the time. I just wanted to thank you again for such a great
puppy, maybe in a few years we will get another one. I will definitely
come to Ulster again for another!

Hi Judy & Dale, Here are some updated photos of Bugsy! Now at 4 months old and 6.5 pounds, he’s doing great! He is such a terrific puppy! Real loving! Real playful! The other dog you see in some photos is my older girl! (9 ½ years old) She is “FINALLY” starting to except him! He just loves the car! I do a lot of traveling, and he comes every where with me! He sticks to me like glue! I can’t do “NOT A THING” without him! He is just the greatest! Hope all is well! Happy Holidays!

I thought I would send you an update on Buddy. Here is a picture of him in his Brazilian shirt, after all it is World Cup (soccer time). It is a pleasure arriving home and being greeted by him, he is such a happy dog when he sees us. Anyway, I keep visiting your webpage and dreaming of the day that I will be able to have a companion for Buddy.

Huey's now 4 months old and definitely feels pretty sure of himself. He loves to sleep and play, but I think we're all ready to have some warm weather so the snow melts away and we can play outside a lot more. This winter in Michigan sure has been a white one! He was at the vet on Monday for his Rabies shot (which he didn't like at all!) and weighed 7.7 lbs. Over Christmas, Huey made a 2000 mile roundtrip on my lap to Iowa and Kansas. He did so good! He just laid on my lap and slept most of the time. We were worried about taking him on such a long trip, but he was an absolute angel! Thank you so much for this wonderful puppy! He is a perfect addition to our family - so loving - and I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate him! Here are a few pictures of Huey (Winslow) at play.
